Brattonsville SC and Millbrook Village

Brattonsville, South Carolina, December 2, 2002
We recently took
a little trip to Charlotte, NC to visit with a friend and deliver some
collectable tins which he sells in his spare time. Being retired he has a
lot of that. During that trip we visited Brattonsville, South Carolina,
which is a historic village a short distance from Charlotte. It is the site of a
Revolutionary War battle which was a precursor to the British pullback to
Jamestown and eventual end to the war. We got some nice pictures there. We
escaped Charlotte before the recent monster ice storm only to get a 8 inch
dusting ourselves the morning after we got home.

On December 6, the
day after the snow I went to Millbrook Village in New Jersey where I do
volunteer work and took a group of photos of the village.
